Original Blend of Funk Reggae Rock with some Twang grown in the mountains of Vermont
The Shady Trees have been creating music together since 2013. This dynamic four-piece is made up of brothers Jesse and Micah Sanguedolce on guitars and vocals who deliver vocal harmonies as well as "guitar-monies" and duels. Jason Whipkey holds down the low-end with impressive slap and in-the-pocket lines on the Bass Guitar. Zack Alario keeps it all on track locking in the rhythms of many styles on the drums.
Thier music has been described as sublime-esque Grateful-Floyd reggae, with barnstomping twang and 90's alternative feel good jams. The music they play is meant for the live setting and they bring an energy crowds can feel at thier performances.
